About Brutus

Brutus is a lovely male owned/trained/handled by Nicole Monet. He comes from an interesting half show line and half working line pedigree. Nicknamed the "unicorn" by his friends, Brutus has it all! He is an excellent working dog with great conformation. Brutus has high prey drive, high food drive, and great hunt drive. Brutus has just turned 8 years old and is still actively training in IGP--to me, this is a true testament to an absolutely sound body.

About Bria

Bria is an intelligent and biddable female with high prey drive and medium-high food drive. She is wicked fast and super easy to train. She is very affectionate and handler-oriented. Bria is working towards her IGP1 and will continue training after the litter goes home. She is a brilliant tracker and just loves to work! She is flashy in obedience and good in protection. While she loves to work, she also has a good off switch and has no issue relaxing so long as she is mentally and physically fulfilled, of course.

What to Expect

We expect this pairing to produce black and tan and solid black puppies suitable for hobby dog sports and active families. These pups would make an ideal hiking or running buddy! Puppies will be raised with ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and be exposed to various people, other dogs, sights, sounds, textures, and so on. If the breeding was successful, puppies will be due early March and ready to go to their new homes early May. The puppies will be vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and go home with a kit including chews, treats, a small portion of food, toys, and records in a VDK bag.

We are prioritizing homes that are looking for a new best friend first and foremost. German Shepherds are active and intelligent and so they require some form of physical and mental stimulation. German Shepherd experience is preferred but not required. All puppies will be sold on limited registrations or co-ownership.
